Stripe payouts that don't match your books
Stripe deposits a net payout — sales minus fees, refunds and disputes. Your bank feed and accounting software see one number; finding which payout or transaction doesn't match is slow.

Compare two exports
A: e.g. Stripe → Balance → Payouts → Export (CSV). B: your bank statement or accounting-software export (CSV). Pick the amount and date columns for each.
Common reasons payouts don't match
- Fees, refunds and disputes netted into the payout but not booked separately.
- Multiple currencies converted at payout time.
- Payouts that include sales from several days, or are split across bank days.
- Subscription invoices, credit notes and partial payments that the accounting feed doesn't see.
